Your statutory cooling-off period

You may withdraw from your online purchase without giving a reason up to and including 14 days after the day you receive the item. If products from one order arrive separately, the period starts after receipt of the last product. You may also withdraw before receiving the goods.

Withdrawing from your purchase

Clearly inform us at info@islacalma.nl within the cooling-off period that you wish to withdraw. No reason is required. You may use the statutory model withdrawal form, but this is not compulsory. After notifying us, you have another 14 days to return the goods.

Inspecting and packing your item

You may unpack and inspect the item as you would in a shop. If you use it beyond what is necessary for that inspection and its value decreases as a result, we may deduct that reduction in value. Pack the item carefully, preferably in its original packaging. Keep proof of postage.

Return costs

For an ordinary return because you have changed your mind, you pay the direct return costs. You choose the carrier; the price depends on the country of dispatch, dimensions, weight and packaging. If the item is incorrect, damaged or defective, we pay the necessary return costs.

Refunds

If you withdraw from your entire order, we refund the purchase price and standard delivery costs. Additional charges for a more expensive delivery method are not refunded. If you return only part of an order, we do not refund the original delivery charges.

We refund within 14 days after your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever happens first. We use the same payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We charge no fee for the refund.

Damaged, defective or incorrect item?

This is not an ordinary change-of-mind return. You are entitled to a product that conforms to the contract. Contact us and describe the problem. Your order number and, where possible, photos help us assess it. We pay the necessary return costs for defective or incorrectly delivered items and seek an appropriate solution in accordance with your statutory rights.
